Down by the River

We enjoyed a nice Sunday Drive and walk along the river. We collected little clam shells, giant walking sticks, and just enjoyed the scenery, Loron was busy scoping out the good fishing holes! I love nights like this!!

Oh! The Places You'll Go!

Just think only 12 more years, and then I will really wonder how my baby grew up so fast! Sophie donned her cap and gown, marched down the auditorium aisle, and declared that her future plans were to become a florist. The kids put on a great little program and Sophie sang her heart out. Yep, I loved every minute of it! So she is off to first grade, and is so excited! I hope her love of school and learning continues!! We sure love our Sophie, she is bright and energetic. She is a peacemaker in our home, a very loving big sister to Chloe, and very motherly to Brigham...which he finds totally annoying most of the time! Sophie is busy, busy, busy, always wanting to be doing something or going somewhere fun! She is a great helper around the house, and in the garden, and loves to help with all of mom's projects. She is a good girl and always tries to make good choices, and hates getting into trouble! And she still talks our ears off!! We love you Sophie, thanks for being such a great girl!

In Stitches...but its not that funny!

Well we have finally experienced our first real injury. Chloe got stitches! After jumping onto a garbage bag and cutting her foot, we rushed to the urgent care. There was a little screaming and crying as they numbed her foot and then had to numb it again when they tried to stitch it up and she could still feel it. But Chloe was brave as always and held super still! So three stitches later and a lot of bandages and she is now good to go!
